The action-packed Transporter film franchise is getting a reboot, and P.I.G.-repped director Camille Delamarre is directing the first in a new trilogy of films! The first installment of the Transporter reboot, The Transporter Legacy, will see newcomer Ed Skrein replacing Jason Statham in the role of skilled illegal goods transporter Frank Martin. Luc Besson, who also wrote and produced the original Transporter trilogy, will produce the new film series. Camille is a protégé of Besson’s, and his friends here at P.I.G. are both proud of him and eagerly anticipating this exciting reboot. The Transporter Legacy will have its worldwide release in June.

P.I.G.’s New Director: Marcelo Burgos

Site-Photo

We are excited to announce that we’re now representing Argentinian director, Marcelo Burgos. Not only is Marcelo a director, but he’s also an illustrator, animator, printer, sculptor and former agency creative. Before turning his craft to directing, Marcelo worked since he was 18 years old in Argentina and Madrid at agencies such as Ogilvy and BDDP, winning over 70 advertising awards for his campaigns. Now as a director, Marcelo can adeptly handle the visual challenges of directing special effects and detailed set pieces as well as perfectly execute scenes of comedy. His talents converge for these humorous ads for PS3 and Coke Light. We here at P.I.G. can’t wait to create more visually rewarding and comedic work with Marcelo here in China, where he will be exclusively repped (and inclusively befriended) by us.

You Must Know More About Marcelo!

We mentioned that in addition to directing TV commercials, Marcelo also involves himself in several other artistic pursuits. It would be criminal to share Marcelo’s TVCs and not show you the very cool sculptures, drawings, prints, animations and toys he has made outside of his filmmaking career. Visit MarceloBurgos.com and check out some of the eye-popping visuals that clearly spans across several mediums. On the site you’ll also find Marcelo’s more poignant work for Samsung, his handmade toys, a game he made as a gift for his daughter, and even a unique font that Marcelo designed for you to freely download and use. See why we love this guy?

Teenage (2013, 77 min, Dir: Matt Wolf)

“Teenagers didn’t always exist, they had to be invented.”

Teenage documents the formation of youth culture, as it took shape across the world from the midst of the industrial revolution to the mid-20th century. Narrated by Jena Malone (The Hunger Games) and Ben Wishaw (Skyfall), who read directly from the diary entries of teens throughout various cultures and decades, Teenage is a chronicle of the cultural rebellion, political activism, and popular trends ignited by young adults, as they established themselves as a new, not-to-be-ignored segment of the population. Poetically pieced together from rarely seen archival footage, Teenage showcases the birth and evolution of the “teenager,” through the eyes of subjects as diverse as flappers, Hitler-youth, and black teens living under segregation.

Behind the scenes of Peugeot “The Legend Returns” by Andy’s

Little Black Book Q&A with Andy’s and Matthieu:

http://lbbonline.com/news/how-photo-real-animation-saw-the-rebirth-of-a-peugeot-classic/

The 1985 commercial for the Peugeot 205i, which featured remarkably executed stunt-driving and a gripping helicopter chase, is regarded as an unforgettable piece of art. The spot is so memorable that Peugeot decided to remake it 30 years later, using pristine CGI effects that were unimaginable in the 1980s. This making-of video documents how WIZZ directors Andy’s made a photorealistic recreation of a classic using mostly CGI, and achieved shots and effects that were impossible 30 years ago.

Lilanz – Chen Dao Ming: A Journey of Simplicity in Northern Europe

Acclaimed actor Chen Daoming is an artist who has mastered his craft thanks to his boundless love for life and immutable desire for exploration.

Being a captivating screen thespian and a spokesman for Lilanz menswear, Chen Daoming followed his hunger for inspiration to that most picturesquely arranged of world cities, Copenhagen, Denmark.
